The beautiful Northumbrian countryside lies virtually on the doorstep, with Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens just a 20-minute drive away, or the 13,000-acre Wallington Estate around 15 miles from the development.
Historic attractions such as Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the Cragside National Trust estate are just half an hour’s drive away and the rugged coastline of Bamburgh, Holy Island and the Farne Islands can all be reached well within an hour by car.
The impressive Northumberland coastline is a breathtaking backdrop for walking, running, cycling, picnicking and for the avid tee-time enthusiast.

For families, there are a number of well-regarded schools near the development, including Abbeyfields First School and Morpeth First School for younger children and The King Edward VI School for older students. Within a short drive you will find the popular and friendly Morpeth Golf Club with its superb 18 hole parkland course and vibrant club house. The Old Registry enjoys excellent road links, with the A1 easily accessible, linking with Scotland to the north and Newcastle, Durham, Darlington and onwards to London to the south. Morpeth Railway Station, which is on the East Coast Mainline, is less than five minutes drive away (20-minute walk) and from there regular services
